Mt.Lilydale Old Collegians Soccer Club would like to take this opportunity to advise all players, members, sponsors and supporters of the clubs actions in season 2012.
The club has assigned a task force of 3 main operatives to put action to a season building plan to rebuild the club in 2013. The plan involves major overhauls in all areas of the club, being from a new commitee down to attracting new, young, talented players.
The club has forged a strong bond with Mt.Lilydale Mercy College and would like to extend an invite to all players who would like to be a part of the 'new' Mt.Lilydale Old Collegians Soccer Club.
The original founding committee is getting behind the new team and will give their support and hope to return the club to the original force it used to be.
Ground renovations are now complete at 'Goat Park' but the ground does need to rest for around 6 months which has made the facilities out of bounds for this current season, but the ground which was once ridiculed for being small, ugly and a bump-fest is now to be one of the best in the Yarra Valley. It has been made to full Fifa Regulation Size, full drainage has been laid throughout and around the pitch, its been reseeded and treated to give the ground a nice, soft, supple grass to play some serious football in season 2013.
