Reserves Suffer Heavy Defeat
The reserves came into the game with only 11 men, but the team was up and about knowing that they got the points in a thrilling 1-0 win away to Bayswater earlier in the season.
The game started badly for the home side with Bayswater scoring an early goal against the run of play to put them up 1-0 early on. The game was then evenly balanced with some great battles opening up around the pitch.
Bayswater then got the ascendecy of the game and began to punish the reserves backline and piled on another 2 goals to make their half time lead 3-0.
The second half was not going to bring any joy to the reserves as they contested early but again were outplayed by simply a better Bayswater team, the only highlight was when Liam charged in after a free kick to force the ball over the line to give the reserves some heart late on in the game but it was a case of, too little too late as the game finished 6-1 in Bayswater's favour.
