Reserves Get Back Winning Feeling....

The reserves turned the table to put a long awaited win on the board at home vs Westernport. The game started very well with Joe Drago converting an early penalty after Lui Pettinella was bought down in the box. The  reserves then went two goals up when Joe Pignataro added a cool finish to put the team in a commanding position. Westernport equalised just before half-time to set up a tantilising second half.

 

The reserves came out like a team that didn't want to lose and added a third goal with Lui adding a superb chip over the keeper to make it 3-1 to the reserves. Westernport added a second goal to make the score 3-2 and leave the reserves to defend the last nine minutes, the boys fought there way through the heavy attacking to take away a great fought out 3-2 home win!
