Seniors Hold Onto Second Spot

The seniors played at home vs Westernport with a changed formation and looked to have the goods early on. The affair was tight with both midfields looking dangerous, but Micheal Blazincic was menacing and starting to get on top of the Westernport centre midfielder. Thats when the first goal of the game came from with Cic sending through a brilliant ball after a great tackle to send Tyler in for the first goal as he then slid the ball into the far corner. Great finish!

 

The second half came along and it was again the midfielders who had there work cut out, but it was to be Westernport who looked to spoil the home party with a lucky equaliser with about five minutes to play. 1-1.

 

The seniors kicked off and put together a great couple of passes to score immedialty through super sub Lui Pettinella, who scored for the second week running. The seniors pinched the game at home 2-1 and they deserved it overall!
