Mount Lilydale Soccer Club, new to the Vicsoccer leagues in 2010, has put other teams in Division 1 Afternoon on notice that it intends to grab one of the two Premier League spots available in 2011. Mount Lilydale Soccer Club is looking like the team to beat in 2010 after an impressive first round match against Trojan Athletics in the Afternoon First Division today. The reserve match saw a ten-nil victory to the newbies, who went on to win the senior contest by eight goals to one. The club will have an extra week to recover from any knocks and soreness with a bye in round two. Then it will be full steam ahead when they visit the combined teams of Asylum Seeker Resource Centre and Mandela in Round three. Good luck. Already the Goats are making there mark boys!!!
